The Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is a unique place to learn and it is the largest centre for Indian Arts and Culture outside India. Located in London, the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan has been a centre for aspiring performers, teachers and for those that wish to learn about Indian arts for 40 years. Currently, over 800 students are enrolled in different programs.

In recognition of the importance of its work in keeping the rich artistic and cultural heritage of India alive and available to all, Chellaram Foundation has contributed more than GBP 100,000 to Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.

Dr Nandakumara

Dr Nandakumara is honorary director of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.

He is a pioneer in Indian classical arts and a well-known scholar of Sanskrit language, literature and philosophy.  Dr Nandakumara has dedicated the last four decades to teaching, lecturing and propagating Indian arts and culture in the UK including giving talks at the Houses of Parliament and Cambridge University.
